Well heres my baby.  Took a couple years to put her together.  This is my second mustang.  Last one I crashed racing it at Seekonk Speedway.  Well let me tell you a little bout her.  1989 Mustang Notchback.  Originally was a 4 cylinder 5 speed. Dark blue with blue interior.  Picked it up for 500 bucks.  SCORE.  Ive been buying parts for this money pit for like the past 5 years or so.  All work done by myself.  Me and a friend did the paint and body work also.  My goal is to get it to the dragstrip and run a 10 second quarter mile.  As of right now, the motor is getting torn down and pulled.  Im going to respray the engine compartment cause it came out like shit the first time and all the swiss cheese holes are getting welded.  Im putting forged pistons in it, new cam, canfield heads, intercooler, forged rods, and putting a girdle to strengthen up the bottem end.   Also going to chrome and polish some more parts.

*UPDATE* 5/17/06
Well i decided to go a different route.  Im going to keep the stock bottom end and cam combo.  I sold the vortech s-trim and nitrous and bought a single turbonetics T72 turbo and methanol kit instead.  Ive been buying parts like crazy over the last couple months and all the paint is sanded off the engine compartment.  The new parts im going with this year are D&D K-member kit with A-arms and coil overs, Flaming river manual rack, canfield stage 3 heads, spec stage 3 clutch, eaton unit in the rear end with 3.55's(4.10's are way too much gear for a blown application) and a rear disc brake setup.  Possibley a tremec tko-600 if i got enough cash cause the stock T5 definately wont hold all the power i will be making.  Hoping to see 500 to the rear with this setup on 9 pounds of boost.

Little Slideshow I put together of the build up.

*UPDATE 2/20/06*
Well this is the current condition of the car. Pretty cold out today to be workin on it, but that how it is up here in Rhode Island for the winter.  As you can see I ripped the whole nose off today.  Motor is ready to come out, all tranny bolts and all hardware holding the motor together are all out.  Was going to pull it out today but the 20 degree weather was numbing the shit out of my toes on my steel toe boots.

Man I got alot of work ahead of me.  Really looking forward to sanding the paint off and welding up all those holes especially in an unheated garage.  O well, love working on it and itll be worth the time and effort when its done.

Gotta have the Ford Banner hanging in the Garage.
