So it was supposed to be a nice weekend doing a rear end swap..

 

All was going well untill I was on the last bolt.  The lower control arm sleeve, in between the bushing rusted around the bolt that goes through it.  I was able to get the nut off, but turning the bolt with my air gun did no good as the sleeve was keeping me from pulling the bolt out. 

 

I had to cut the damn thing out (grinding the mounts, making the rear end useless(I was gonna sell it))..

 

I ground out the bushing and removed the sleeve/bolt.  I will order a new bolt and stock bushing to push back into the arm and put the 8.8 in.  The new rear end has 373s in it (thanks Rick!) and is out of an 04 (thanks charlie)

 

I also painted my rear calipers.
