Engine Shots...

May have shown a couple of these before.  Not macro shots but close enough.  These were taken with my Canon 7D & the 28-135mm. Some may have been snapped with the 50mm.  Zoom lenses are so much better for a walk around stuff. My 28-135 is extremely sharp.   I use photoshop, photoimpact, Serif and Topaz products.

Table Top Photography

I have been attempting to do some tabletop photography. Like to attempt everything with the camera so I had to try.  I don't have a macro lens for the tabletop stuff but used my 50mm F1.8 lens.  Recently bought some macro pieces (no money for the macro lens) to cheat but haven't tried those yet.

Here's some table top shots with the 50mm. I would like to do some images with some small car parts soon.

Grafitti in Las Vegas...

It's really amazing how much grafitti goes up over grafitti now.  Every weekend when I go and check on new stuff I see some amazing artwork that's been replaced with something else and other artwork that has been around for a while.  Not sure if there is some kind of hierarchy amongst the taggers.   I have met a few of the taggers. they have permission on these homes to tag without trouble. So many are coming her to work that they continue to just create theirs over someones elses work.  Wasted talent. The city 'our art district' needs to put these guys and gals to work.

Here's some of the latest images I have captured.  Check out my ImageWorx  photography page and click "LIKE" if you like my work.

This one was gone within a week of it being paint. It was an incredible piece of art.

Winter projects update

Can't find the old blog I was using to post progress on my projects, so here's a new one. It's been a while and here's what's been going on:

- The hood has been worked over for better fitment, and they fiberglassed the rear corners to extend it closer to the cowl to eliminate the gap. The hood, cowl cover, and front bumper have also been painted. The rear bumper had its little cracks fixed and it was repainted as well.

- Door jambs and recessed trunk channels are next as well as the scratch/chip work and full wet sanding

- Strut tower has been worked over more to allow clearance for the master cylinder. Body work began on the engine bay yesterday. Will be painted soon.

I finished the intake powder coating, polished the fittings, and put the chrome heater tubes back on:

I will also be adding these pieces, and the plastic motor cover that goes in the middle of it will be painted in a candy red to match the intake. The PS reservoir and visible refill area of the washer fluid reservoir will be done in this color as well.

Supercharger help
blog Wednesday, February 29, 2012 @ 2:50 PM
  939 Views

I just installed a powerdyne supercharger (5-6 psi) on my 91 5.0, I can't get it started now,I have gt-40p heads, tubular gt40 intake, 24# injectors. I installed it as the manual said, I've tried adjusting the timing on the distributor, it turns over, and on occasion it will idle for a few seconds then just die out, anyone have any ideas?
