Attention all v6'ers

Ok so here is the deal Im thinking about buying a 97 v6 convertible stang and its got high miles so to make me feel better Im wanting to rebuild the engine, it has the 3.8L in it of course. My problem is finding a master rebuild kit for it. Im lookin everywhere, if I got the 302 it would be simple to find one, but for some reason im finding it impossible to find a 3.8 kit. Im wanting to pull a J and do a high horse v6 stang. But anyways am I just out of luck or do i need to buy the parts seperately. which wanting a bigger cam and whatnot it may be better to do that anyways, but until I could get the high hp parts together i need to make it sound for everyday driving first. Lol and so whats the best way to pull 500 ponies out of the v6, hopefully the naturally aspirated way lol. although a super would be fun lol. Being a mechanic in the army has its benifits full access to tools and bay and painting booth and anything involving cars trucks and tanks lol. Ok anyways off subject but yeah rebuild kit lol.

Opinions on Manual Valve Bodies for a 4R70w

Any recommendations on a manual valve body for 4R70W?

I have been looking at Lentech, PA and Silverfox.

Brad at Bradco has only had one experience with Silverfox and it wasn't good. Brad suggested either Lentech or PA.

I'm leaning towards the Lentech, but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the PA unit.

I rode it twice so far, it was 24°f so it was a little chilli but not bad. Shes to bed for the winter now, they put a bunch of salt down last snow.
