Well after several months of not deciding what I want to do for the next mod...

I decided on a one piece aluminum driveline.

I got the Fidanza 900 HP Aluminum 3.5" piece. It weighs in at 17 lbs versus the stock 43 lbs. For the guys that don't know about the 05+ cars, the drivelines are two piece, heavy, and crappy.

I am hoping for a little better performance but also will like the safer aspect of this shaft.

Nice... whats the price on that?  Never saw the gains in doing something that, but it must be pretty good.

less rotational mass = less weight, and better/quicker acceleration....you will "feel" more of a difference rather than "see" it on a dyno though.  Great mod!

Thats what im asking... how much time do you gain in the 1/4 mile for 699$

My car SUCKS at the 1/4 mile anyway... So I gave up on that. My suspension is too stiff and I get no weight transfer and NO traction. I prefer road racing stuff anyway to drag raing. I am hoping that I will gain some, as far as weight goes well there is a 26 lb less for ratational mass. I would think about a tenth is the most I could see. I will test it out though at the track and see. Now that the air temps have FINALLY gone down I will make another trip.

i do nnot know how much power you will get but, if i am correct every 1 pound of static weight is 8 pounds of rotational wieght so you should feel a gain in acceleration for sure.

OK... good information... my buddy got one but hes still in the high 13s.. (96 v8)...  at that point why not rip out your rear seats or get some lighter rims?

Rondawg... Let me know on the Heat Exchanger. I might do that really soon. I am very interested on how hard it is to make it fit, size wise and for the brackets to mount it.
