Here are some before and after shots. Tell me what you think; should I powder coat or go chrome? I figured this would be a good add-on for the track on Thursday.

Yours would look good in Black against that chrome charger .. I have seen a few other Black ones and they really stand out .. sure beats that drab aluminum look.

Black, duh, you drive a BLACKjack with BLACK paint, a BLACK stripe and BLACK interior.  How could you consider anything else?

Thanks perf, I just think maybe the chrome would look good with the chrome charger?? or maybe the black will be a good contrast?

well gunner as you well know I'm a black car and my engine bay is red,, ( go figure ) black / red / chrome goes great together.  Most American Muscle cars go with Chrome I chose the go with the red theme do to I wanted to be different.  My vote  powder coat it " Red "

leave it as-is...until you add more bling elsewhere...THEN decide what works better.

it depends on how much bling you'll end up having and where and keeping a balance.  I like it as-is at the momment...it's balanced with your current mods

Best of both worlds.

Powder coat both the blower and cam covers in BLACK Chrome.  Eastwood has a great BC powder.

Thank you everyone for the advice. Now i'm totally confused... I got every answer. but i think the overall opinion is to go with black and do the cam covers as well. Like i said to gunner, maybe next winter's project.

If you're confused now try this .. paint the thing with yellow and black safety stripes and put a caution sticker on it .. LOL

The key is contrast, contrast, contrast...Where would you get the "BIGGEST" attention grabbing contrast.

Let me think...mmmmm..."BLACK!"
