Well I took some leave and have nothing to do so I decided to redo my interior.  Everything is going to be black.  I have everything torn out of the car.  The only things that Wont change right now are the seats and the head liner.  I am rebuilding the door panels myself, so we will see how that works out.  I was thinking of throughing some yellow accents in the interior but not really sure were would look good.  I want everything to flow and not look getto if you know what I mean.  Any suggestions would be great.  I will through some pics up later as to the progress.

i think the all black interior would look great w/ yellow door panel inserts, console shifter plate & maybe even the rear speaker grills. stay away from dying high usage/wear areas like arm rests & things thaat are handled alot. keep pics posted of progress!

Sounds like a great project, take a look at Crimson for some ideas, he has some white on the interior that looks cool.

hope to see it come to life. interior swaps are really simple. i removed all the red interior in my 88 & installed a complete gray 1988 Saleen FloFit interior. a world of difference! interior swaps are cool :-)

I think the area of the door panel right around the arm rest would look good yellow. Kind of like the SA-10 Saleen (I think that was the one which was black w/ the yellow and white highlights).

sweet,  I am recovering the door pannels.  The fiber board is completley warped and falling apart.  I striped the passenger side door panel and i am going to use it for a template.  I got some fiber board at lowes for 12 bucks enough to do both sides.  I went to a fabric store and got 4 yards of Marine grade vinyl 16 bucks, some staples and glue.  for another 5 bucks.  The tricky part with the door panel is attaching the fiber board to the aluminm upper peice that is rounded.  It apears that Ford glued it in there.  So i figured I would try and JB weld it, or Gorrilia Glue.  And was thinking last night about the insert for the door panel going with a yellow vinyl over the one that is carpeted.  Not sure though I dont remember seeing yellow vinyl at the fabric store.  Thanks for the imput I will post pictures once I start getting somwhere with the project hopefully today I can make some headway.  Thanks agian.
