um no overdrive

I was rolling down the highway this morning and then my RPM's shot up to 4 grand I backed off played with the shifter and nothing.  I have reverse, drive and 1st with no problems.  I can use overdrive but when I accelerate it does not pull.  If I gently accelerate it will move forward but not like it should.  Anyone ever had this problem in an Automatic.  Anyone have any solutions.  Thanks

the full manual is exactly that- shift to shift sort of what Ozz set up has

and the semi manual allows you to shift- but also it will shift itself when in D or OD.  but what it does allow is to put OD on a switch to allow your shifter to operate 1,2,3 -this is what I plan to do

you can still put the OD on a switch with the manual valve body as well
