in general yeah,but the valvetrain usually isnt a problem. A hell of alot cheaper to fix if it does break too though.
ive never heard ot the chains breaking. if anything fails its the tensioners and thats because alot of people tend to use the wrong oil.
and yes, pushrods are cheaper to fix....but those are also easy to do....i like challenges. mod motors last a LONG time if maintained properly. hell, i see cabs in and out of my buddies shop with 3 and 400k on the 4.6s.
If you want a real challenge work on a late model camaro. lmao kidding again
YIKES! My husband used to have a 95 z28 with the LT1....i have my experience with those! they are a BITCH. thats the biggest reason it went bye bye.
