thanks for your time. i payd 1100 wed nite for a paxton novi 2000 localy and it is bigger than i thot. its going on my 2nd fox which is a built 306 but stock block and im worryd about cracking it. brian and chris tuten are doin all the work ther 2time NMRA. he is sponsored by procharger and talks alot about them but im no hot rod mechanic. i was worryd about blowin the mony wen i got it because i had to go to hick town and ther was a meth lab like rite behind us. turns out i got a good deal on a whole kit
u think 500hp to the wheels is to much for a stock block? will a valley girdle and main and head studs help?
When you say "stock block" you mean not forged correct? If so, you pushing the limits. If your tunning tries for the max tune,,,, you just may blow it. If he backs off about 15 %. You should be fine. In addition as you well know getting up to 500 hp you be needing to upgrade fuel supply.
thanks bud. i already have an oversized fuel pump. i dont know wat size. the dude who built the car sed it had an over sized pump to fuel the nos at a 200hp hit. so the motor was set up for nos but wen i bot the car he took it off along with some chassis work and slicks. kinda gay realy but i just wanted to go fast with me bieng young with the gurls. but yes the block is stock and that 15% ur talkn about,, is that like 450hp to the wheels??? bcuz i was told 450 was the max u cud push a stock block 302 safltey. o and onther thing, the paxton is in my room waitn for 800-1000$ to be instald for them panty dropn college hoes. lol my mechanic brian and chris tuten sed if the charger is to much hes gona reduce my timing to cut back hp. is that bad on my motor in the long run? i already give my motor hell as it is. lol
p.s im makin a movie soon. thanks agen
