	561 Views I know that almost every good stang modifier has driven around with their car a little mismatched at one point or another. I've been pretty much against doing it to my car, until I picked up my 4in. cowl hood the other day from our buddy. We put it on yesterday, and I personally doesn't think it looks too bad. Reef Blue isn't Calypso Green.. but eh. Your thoughts? We hadn't washed the hood yet... Which is why it looks pretty dingy.. and a cool motor shot!

“” i agree paint it, I will be driving around soon with all kinds of different colors, red primer gray and flat black once i get my body kit and hood. So deffiently get it painted but if you plan on doing more with the car body wise i would wait and get it all painted at the same time.

“” Well, we went down to our local bodyshop today and Ellie goes in on Monday to have the hood painted. 250 bucks with tax. We thought it was going to be upwards of 400 dollars... So we went ahead and scheduled her an appointment since it was half the cost we estimated.

“” yeah i would of deff said do the primer thing. my buddy has a 2001 GT and the paint and clear coat was horable so he sanded and did a dark gray/black primer and it looks so good that where trying to talk him into doing it again in primer just a lil better and leaving it that way
