I think you are taking this the wrong way.  If you are being encouraged to go to the next level your car must be that good  why else say it.  You have gone through your class and done well.  There is more to a nice stang than a mods list.  Besides I wager too many points on you for you to quit....lol.

Theres been alot of broken wager streaks here in the last couple days. To me its pretty obvious when a car has 7000 points bet on it and the other has 30 who should win.

here lately it doesnt seem to matter anyway. Cars that dont even have pics of eveything are beating cars like greygt. People should do like they do the hunts and just go down the line clicking. It dont matter whats on your site you got a 50/50 chance no matter what. lol

My solution 5 judges instead of 3.  Things should be more consistant then.

there is more than 3 now. There were like 8 or something. I know a couple of the damn judges that are sick of the BS and turned their judging off. You know somethings wrong when the judges dont even want in it. Especially when they get points just for judging it.

 

What I mean is 5 judging, not 3.  It leaves no room to complain.  And yes I bet the bitching gets old fast.

well for my 8 losses people who wagered against me won 24190 those who wagered for me lost 7255

 

for my 54 wins people who wagered against me lost 7740 those who wagered for me won 220870

those are a lot of points!

they only get like 200-250 points for judging.  there a 7 judges as of right now and 3 get randomly choosin from that 7 and are asked to judge each JFO if there were 5 though for each JFO that would make thinks better but its hard to find good unbiast help because he would need more then 7 hired total judges to do 5 per JFO cause they would take forever

OK, so I have been on GS for about six months now (but I have been a motor head for over 30 years!) and have listened to the debate over JFO judging and FO ‘buddy voting’ over that time and feel compelled to weigh in.  I have done 4 JFO’s between my two cars – I have a 1-3 record (including a loss to VP on what I feel was a very good competition).  I think I have two very nice cars.  The reason I don’t do more JFO’s is that I don’t have all of the required pictures (No undercarriage shots of either car – yet).  I don’t feel any of my losses were ‘unfair’.  On each of my losses the judges have said, nice car – need more/all of the required pictures.  I think that all the judges are saying is that we all have to pick cars that are in the same class and have the ability to be judged on the same merits (have all or equal required pics).  If someone is classed as Lightly Modified, that may be because of what they listed as mods, but don’t have the pictures to back it up.  Maybe these cars should not be able to be classified! 

 

Maybe the answer is there should be an ‘allow FO’ setting and an ‘allow JFO’ setting.  The JFO setting would only be able to be set when the car has been classified and could be turned off independent of the FO setting by the member.  Maybe another answer is instead of rendering a decision on every JFO – the Judges could issue a ‘No Contest’ decisions because of lack of pictures/ample information about one of the cars to make a fair decision.  One ‘No Contest’ and the JFO is off and all bets are cancelled.  Maybe we should make it so that all FO’s/JFO’s/UFO’s have to be accepted before they can begin and then ask the judges to hold of on the editorial about the fairness of the match – if a person accepts the challenge then the challenger should not be chastised for picking a ‘weaker car’.

 

These are just a few of my thoughts/ideas.

Good point crimson, mine mainly is that 2 0f 3 is a small sample and leaves room for those like complaining.  The chance of finding 5 judges in a random rotation all who like the same things or are biased towards a specific car is remote at best.  If you complain about losing then well you are just a Loser. 

Mine is supercharged in the moderate class.

Mine is moderately modified......................just a few extra cubes stuffed into the block!

Judges for the most part dont classify. I dont at least.  I am moderately modded and I have a ten pounder hiding in the works lol.

My car is supercharged in the moderately modified class.

Both sites and Stangs are awesome. mysteed gets this one by half a split hair on a frogs ass. This was a great JFO. bmputz you have got to be the best JFO picker I have ever seen. You go after everyone no matter what and I commend you for it.

 

ive gone after just about everyone just funny seeing comments like that and seeing/understanding why people act/say/beleive what they do. thank god im JFO retired for right now. but just a little hint MJ had a comeback out of retirement so we shall see in a couple weeks what happens. i would like to reach 100 JFO total. only 36 away

VP, I thought that had gotten fixed so you were in Moderately, my bad... on your "road trip" you could pick up a KB and a couple of bottles, to become the only blown Cobra in Lightly Modified.
