Can anyone help me?, I turn my head light switch on and my headlights do not light up.  the parking lights light up and if I pull on my turn signal lever back the high beams light up but the highbeams will not come on by pushing the turnsignal lever forward.  The bulbs are brand new so I know it has to be wiring somewhere but I dont know where to look.  Any ideas?

Hey, ford also had a lot of problems with the multifunciton switch (turn signal and highbeam switch) breaking internally...and the headlamp wiring is run through this switch.  They also had problems with the connectors at the multifunction switch.  You may want to pop off the steering column shroud and check to make sure none of the wire terminals have backed out of the connector.  If you have tilt steering wheel, try turning the headlamps on and tilting the wheel up and down kinda hard....this will help identify a bad connection at the multifunction switch.  hope this helps...good luck!!

If you have a test light, check to see that you have power on the red/black wire going to the headlamps in low beam position with switch on...if no...check to see that you have power coming out of multifunction switch at red/black wire pin 13...if no...see if you have power going into multifunction switch at red/yellow pin 15. let me know if this helps.

Check the headlight switch, Ford had a problem with some of them heating up and the wires melting together.

YsOffcr is right...they(ford) have a revised pigtail to plug in that has bigger guage wire if it is melted.  I had that problem on my fox and forgot all about it till now....whoa, too much carbon monoxide..

well, I took off the steering column and found nothing loose or pinched so after putting that back together they are working now.  So either Stephen King owned this car prior or I am going crazy.  I have already replaced that switch once I think it was last year.  Ill pull it out and check again.  (&^%$%$^%$*&^!!!!
