Would need some input on gears please.  Just wondering witch one to put in my GT.  4.10 or 3.73. My mustang is my everyday car, use it to work and lots of highways. I'm leaning for the 4.10 with SCT programmer,  seam to be the most popular upgrade. But was wondering if it's to big for the kind of use i do with my car. Peoples are telling me that there is no big difference in performance between the two. Will it affect alot my millage, rpm, and would probably loose the use of my first gear i guest.
Some gostang people must have those gears in there cars.     What do you thing.

My car is standard. with 4.10 my first gear would probably by useless? It will give me super good take off but no top end, is that right.

The general rule for the 5.0s are 3.73s for a man and 4.10s for the auto.  When it comes to the 4.6 which is a higher revving engine you can step it up to 4.10s for the man and 4.30s for the auto, for the n/a 4v engines 4.10s are the minimum. I have 3.73s in my 5.0 5spd, and 4.10s in the Cobra. I think the 4.10s will be fine for your case, but if you want to play it safe go with the 3.90s like saleenlx5.0 suggested.
