Where to Begin?Well after so many years of ownership i have come to that place that all of us eventually do in our mustang ownership, "Make it go Faster!!".  Yes thats right after devoting so many hours and plans to trying to make my pony look the way I want it to I have decided that I need to work on the engine.  Prolly should have done it in the reverse order in retrospect, but as they always say hindsight is 20/20.
So now we come to the meat of my BLOG, what to do first?  I have the usual low budget mods, CAI, a chip and some springs and nice exhaust.  What I really want to do is build up the motor without going the forced air route.  I know the superchargers and turbocharging route is bolt on power, but i need to get the motor to a point where it will be able to handle that much power.  Whats the first step that all you gear heads out there would take?  Point me in the right direction.  Keep in mind that it will be a long progression, my money tree hasn't quite dispensing dollars yet!  Thanks for the advice in advance!!

Tint tickets Ahoy!!    So for the last two years I have had all the windows on the Dark Horse tinted limousine dark.  And for those past two years I had remained unscathed as far as getting stopped by the local 5-0.  That is until this past week, I got hit two times in one week for the tint, which really doesnt surprise me.  I think the reason that I was so bummed out was the fact that I had gone so long and passed countless numbers of officers that hadn't seen fit to pull me over.
I should mention that in both cases there was no moving violation that lead to the traffic stop, it was purely for the tint.  There are a couple other things on the car that they cited once they had me defenseless on the side of the road, my lack of a front license plate, and the cover that I had over the rear license plate to protect that expensive tribute to 9-11 that I got.
In any case the end result is that I am off to the local tint shop today to have my tint removed and signed off by the local CHP office.  Is it a big deal? No not really, I understand that I am in the wrong for having that tint in the first place and I understand that the fine Officers were only doing what they felt necessary to protect themselves and the community, but it still sucks.  Anyway gotta jet so I can make my appointment.  Hope you guys that do have some tint on the front windows are having better luck then I.

Well after waiting the quoted 3 months and hearing nothing from the office i called the help line and asked what was up.  The person that handled the call said "well we have the plate numerics on hold but i cant say where the plate is."  I asked "can you tell me whether or not you have my money??" to which he replied "oh yea we have recieved your payment."  Then he promptly told me to be patient and that sometimes these things run a little longer then they should.  I said ok, afterall we are dealing with agovernment agency right?!   So i wait another month and call again.  Same thing happens, "yea we have your money and what ?! you dont have your plate?!  what the heck could have happened??" to which i said "Thats kinda what i was calling to find out!" .  Ok another couple months pass and i am patiently waiting, why i dont kow, I usually go crazy all over these people's supervisor.  So then yesterday i call again and finally get someone that knows what the hell is goin on. He tells me that since i ordered over the website and the whole program was really new my order prolly just got lost CRAP!  Now i have to wait another 3 - 4 months for the damn plates and its almost like it isnt even worth it.  Ok thats enough of my bitchin, but pretty lame havin to wait almost a year for something that should have only taken a couple months right!?!?! ]]>DrkHseMach1http://www.gotstang.com2006-03-04T19:12:39Z2006-03-04T19:12:39Zhttp://www.gotstang.com/blogs.php?blogid=78
