Mustang WeekJust wondering if anyone is going to Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach N.C. July 22nd-26th. Looks like it's going to be a hoot! ]]>PapaT87gthttp://www.gotstang.com2008-07-04T22:20:25Z2008-07-04T22:20:25Zhttp://www.gotstang.com/blogs.php?blogid=3297Car Cover Question

Got a new custom car cover from the wife. It fits perfect and nice to have since we do not have a garage. I noticed that when I removed it the other morning to drive to work it seemed slightly damp. (it was 70 degrees, had to drive it) Now this is suppose to be the kind of cover that "breathes" and the outside was dry. Do I need to put something in the car (and what) to help? I figure someone has a trick for this.
Thanks for reading.

Gotta get the 5.0 out of that I-40 Traffic!
I decided to purchase a daily driver to keep the stang from getting wacked up by those dump trucks with the "stay back 200 feet" signs that will pop your new piant job from a 1/4 mile! Anyway I couldn't bring myself to getting a ricer so I picked up this 94 Volvo 850 Turbo. It's not a 5.0 but this thing kicks pretty good.

Need help, Idle problem!!! Here's the deal ... About 2 weeks ago my engine on my 87 started idling high. I have checked and replaced almost all my vacuum lines, new TPS set @ .98, new IAC, MAF checked out, timing on 10 degrees, and throttle body clean as a tick! When I plug the IAC in the car revs to 12 to 1500 RPM but when I unplug it, she runs @ 800 RPM and smooth as hell. Do I need to even use this FRICKIN IAC valve? The car runs like a million dollars without it and I'm getting pretty pissed about this, If you can shed some light I would be grateful!

Thanks! PapaT
