New Job!

Oh yeah, incase you guys didn't figure it out from the previous post. I now work at Gateway Classic Cars. I started in May of 2013. It keeps me very busy! I am now the Sales Manager at the Louisville Ky Showroom. I definitely enjoy this job much better, and the pay is decent too.

Spring Fling at Gateway Classic Cars

I know this is very early, but I would like to get the word out now.

May 10th, 2014, Gateway Classic Cars will be hosting a Spring Fling at all 6 locations! The plans are to have music, automotive vendors, and as many car clubs participating as possible.

Finally got some color on the ol'raggedity car

Put some color on the ol'beater.

Started out with a little sanding & filler primer

Jammed in the doors 1st since this was a color change.

Moved the other two stangs out of the garage and got her all taped up.

It is a single staged urethane with flattener in it. Going for a satin look.

Backed it out to see what it would look like in the day light. It's really orange.

Putting all the little stuff back on. I really like the contrast from the orange to the black.

Let me know what yo guys think.

Starting to make some decent passes in the ol'83. I might just get this thing painted. Went 6.99 @97.8 mph in the 1/8 mile.

Opinions on Manual Valve Bodies for a 4R70w

Any recommendations on a manual valve body for 4R70W?

I have been looking at Lentech, PA and Silverfox.

Brad at Bradco has only had one experience with Silverfox and it wasn't good. Brad suggested either Lentech or PA.

I'm leaning towards the Lentech, but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the PA unit.

I was coming back from AutoZone and I was putting the '89 back in the garage, when all of a sudden I didn't have steering anymore!

I manage to limp it into the garage. This is what I found.

Apparently the snap ring must of popped out of place.

I put it back together, but I'm wondering if I should replace this unit. Opinions?
