Supercharger Install At Saleen

These are some pics that I took back 0n December 11, 2005 of my supercharger install.  The cool thing about it I was at Saleens place in Irvine, California having it done.  See I got the car in August, they told me to break it in a bit before they install the charger, they said it's a little bit easier on the motor.  So I raced around Southern California, in a rush to get some miles on the car.  And at the begining of December it all came together, Christmas came a little early.  I hope you all enjoy the pics.

The day began with me wheeling the car straight into their facility.  I wish my garage looked this nice.

Then they started the disassembly of the car

More disassembly

Here's a shot of the parts they removed.  I got to keep them as spares.

And the de la resistance
(I don't know if thats right or not)

More disassembly...

Here it's almost ready to get the new part

And it's in!!!

They even took apart the interior of the car.  DAMN!

Some final adjustments and it's all done.  Needless to say this was one of the coolest thing I've had the chance to watch.  These guys where all over it, and they did a GREAT job.

Heres the team responsible for making my car where out rear tires.
Thank you guys.  Your the BEST!

In one word, WOW! Sorry to hear that the Saleen is no longer in your possession, but i can see why. Your whole site is WONDERFUL! Very nice pics and what an AMAZINGLY CLEAN automobile! Right up my alley! I hadn't really been a fan of too many Stangs after 1972 and before 2005, but that Saleen in yellow...I would slap down my hard earned cash for one! Before grabber orange came out, i was prone to screaming yellow as well. I actually planned on finding a supercharged Monte Carlo in yellow, but settled for red instead. Thanks a whole lot for the rating and good luck with the NEW, YELLOW wheels! Vroooooom, Vrooooooom!!!
