Will also add that most of his posts keep us laughing. Makes good point on issues that need to be looked at. Helpful when a member asks. - tweety

Interview
1.) What is your favorite past time hobby?
Collecting stuff. I ve always collected something ever since I was a little kid. I started off by collecting marbles and polished stones and fosils that my grandfather gave me, I collected comic books baseball, football and basketball cards, autographs, bottle caps, Mad Magazine. Most of those collections are lost or gone. I still have a handful of my sports cards and all my autographs. I started collecting die cast cars mainly hotwheels about 9 years ago now that I am older and have more money to spend on things. It started off with die cast cars, mainly hotwheels and NASCARS and now I have pretty much scaled down to just Mustangs and limited edition cars that I rarely find like Hotwheels treasure hunts.
2.) What is your favorite sport?
I use to love baseball until the players got greedy and striked. That left a sour taste in my mouth for the game. A few years ago the Homerun record was on the line and it almost rejuvinated my interest in the game, but I followed who was hitting what out of the park more often. I tried playing Baseball when I was a kid but was never really good at it. I also played Soccer and Football. Football was my favorite sport to play but I really use to love baseball and everything about the game.
3.) Have you ever served in the military, and if so what branch?
I served 10 years on active duty in the US Army. I have held 2 different jobs on active duty. My first duty station was FT. Carson, Colorado. My first Military Job was a 63T. Thats a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems Mechanic. I reclassed to become an Infantry man (11B) because I really wanted to join the Army to jump out of Airplanes and kill people. I attended Airborne School at FT. Benning, GA and then was stationed at FT Bragg for over 6 years before I finally got off Active Duty. I am now a weekend warrior in the Army Reserves. I am waiting on a school date to so that I can again reclass into another job. This time I am going to be a 25B. Information Technology/Systems Operator Analyst.
4.) What was your most embarrassing moment?
To be honest, I cant think of anything. I know I have had them but for some reason forgot what they are or chose to block them out. I also dont embarass easily.
5.) Who is your favorite musician?
I dont have a favorite musician. I do like anything metal or rock. I have a hard time remembering songs and artists though and I am always asking my wife "Whats that song called again? or Who sings this song"
6.) What is your idea of a perfect day?
My ex wife getting hit by a bus and me winning the lottery.
7.) What do you love most about the state you live in?
It makes me appreciate where I have lived before. I am not a big fan of North Carolina. There are areas that are nice but where I live will never be like where I lived at in Arizona or other places I have lived in.
8.) If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
Sydney or Perth, Australia. I have always wanted to visit there and maybe live there. I think it would be a cool place to live.
9.) What is your junk food weakness?
anything with peanut butter in it. I love Reeses pieces and Peanut Butter cups. Also my wife cant buy and keep in the house the peanut butter chips to make peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, because I always eat them before she has a chance to make the cookies.
10.) Where were you when 9/11 happened?
I was in the Army, stationed at FT. Bragg, NC. My unit was down range on FT. Bragg conducting several training missions. We had completed an all night assault on a mock city where we were practicing M.O.U.T. Training. We had finished up on the objective and had a little down time. We were on our way to assault our next objective when all training on FT. Bragg was suddenly stopped. Shortly after that our Company Commander and 1SG, assembled us all around and told us that terrorist had crashed an airplane into the WTC Towers and the Pentagon. Details were skethcy at the time but we were also told that a bomb went off at the Pentagon and that another Airplane was still in the air. It was around that moment that I knew at some point I would end up in combat.
11.) How many Mustangs have you owned?
I have owned 4. My first was a black 68 Fastback. Someone had put a 351C in it. It was a project car and at the time i didnt have the money to put into it, plus i had just got married and had new bills and responsibilities. My second Mustang, I still own but its totaled. It was a 99 Electric Green GT Convertible. I bought it after the ex wife bailed on me. My third stang is my current stang, a 1999 Chrome Yellow GT Convertible. And the last Mustang, while not technically all mine, is the Screaming Yellow 05 my wife has.
12.) Did you name your Mustang, if so what is it?
Nope didnt name my mustang. I wouldnt know what to name it. I had a hard enought time naming my kids and pets that I have had.
13.) What is your favorite color on a Mustang?
Contrary to popular belief, it is not Yellow. I do love Yellow Mustangs though. I dont really have a favorite color. I have always bought my stangs used with the exception of the 05, so choosing a color wasnt really an option. Yellow by far stands out the best though and the first color i would look for if buying a brand new stang would be Yellow but i would also like a Mystic Chrome cobra.
14.) What is your favorite Mustang body style?
For sentimental reasons, I have to go with the two Mustangs that I grew up around when I was a kid. My grandfathers 1964 1/2 coupe and my uncles 67 Vert. My uncles 67 vert is also the first Mustang that I got to actually drive. I love the Mach 1's and Shelbys too and ofcourse the 99 to present body styles. When i was 15 and 16 I also wanted an 88 GT vert.
15.) What is your favorite mod that you have added?
My favorite mod that I have personally done was painting the interior pieces in my stang. I learned a lot and am really pleased with the way it turned out.
16.) What is the rarest Mustang that you can think of?
The rareset Mustang that I can think of is a 1964 1/2 Mustang pace car. 3 were built for to pace the Indianapolis 500. Nobody knows where any of the three stangs are at today.
17.) What do you like most about GotStang?
There is so much to do here and the people on the site are great. I enjoy helping others out anyway i can and I love to see the picture that people post on there sites. My favorite feature is the hunt and i really enjoy doing the research for the trivia.
18.) What do you love most about Mustang clubs?
The comaraderee. Its great to be around people who love the same things you do and share common interests.
19.) How did you find Gotstang?
Ryan D. (Droptop2001GT) refered me and several other YMR members to the site when he went recruiting on YMR for members to join got stang in order to support Paul (killer Canary) in the final round of the tournament against Charlie (onebad95). I joined the site and right away J was there to help me set up my page. I stuck around, got involved and have enjoyed watching the site grow.
20.) What else would you like to see on GotStang?
I make suggestions to J about ways to improve the site almost on a daily basis. LOL. Most of my suggestions are new hunt claims though. I think anything that will attract more members to the site who will keep coming back is the best way to retain dedicated members. New interactive functions and features on the site for got stang members are sure to bring back members who will recruit new members to the site. So i guess what I would like to see is the most awesome community of Mustang enthusiast all right here on got stang. I would also like to see more classic mustang owners and enthusiast on the site.
