My First Mustang

updated: Apr 3rd 2011 @ 04:53 PM

I purchased my 1995 Mustang in April of 2009 in Peoria, IL. for $1450. After test driving the car we knew it would need a lot of work and money. After doing some research I was able to find out that the car had a fairly rare paint code. The code was WJ which is Opal Frost with only 5881 Mustang's made in 95 with this paint color. When I purchased the car is had 18" gunmetal rims, altezza tail lights, blue window tint, jenson cd player, blackout headlight covers, fog lights, and a 4" exhaust tip. This car really needed a lot of work. There was an acid stain on the driver fender from a previous owner spilling battery acid on it, there was acid rain spots all over the car, and door dings on every panel of the car. Along with the body damage came lots of mechanical issues. The motor mounts were going bad, fuel filter plugged, rear end was abused, and the engine was in need of a tune up. The interior was also in rough shape. The driver seat was torn, steering wheel was worn, carpet stained, console broke, radio was fuzzy, dash clock broken, visors had no lighting, and the horn didn't work.

Welcome to GS! I ranked you a 10 as I know how hard what you did was! See my son's 02 GT we put a S/C 5.4 32 Valve Navi Engine & T-56 in (he is "Tribalstang" on GS) and see my Eagle 66 GT Stroker 5-speed 'Vert & S/C Livernois Stroker 05 6-speed Roush 'Vert (each has it's own site on GS)!
