I think it can be setup like an ultimate face off for groups and let it be open to anyone in all the groups. so an example would be us (roush owners) v. Hot foxes. and just like the regular UFO it is managed by someone and groups would be selected by outsiders (can't select your own group) and then let it run for a few days or a week. Just some ideas i'm throwing out. Let me know what you all think.
If the group or it's members don't lose points for a "loss" it'd be okay...I work too hard to earn my points to gamble them away, that is why I like the Tournements (you get points for "winning" but don't lose 'em as you do in a regular Face Off). It's not that I don't see my cars "worthy" but there are a lot of friends voting for friend's cars reguardless of which vehicle is superior. There used to be a 6 hour Face Off where a group of friends would "ambush" a clearly superior Mustang at Midnight, the three or four friends would vote their "favorite" and by the time you knew you were in a Face Off, it would have been over for a few hours. They went after my son's car that way & I caught 'em cause I was up late one night!
Good point. I have not been on this site along time, but I can see where that could easily happen. That is why I like others opinions and past experiences. I did mention to J about what we were trying to do, but told him we were still in the planning stage and by far wasn't close to finalizing anything yet. I do appreciate all comments and suggestions. It just seemed to me we had put together teams and nothing was done with them. Am I wrong on this. Any way Thanks again for everyone's input.
Glad you liked my input...one more point...some are on more than one team. I'd like a way to "opt out" if , for example, "Roush Team" challanged "Military Team".
