90 NOTCH

This is my 90 Notch Mustang page. There are pics on the site going from when i got it to what it is currently. I'll be updating this page as often as i do mods to the car, which is quite often considering i dont go to long without doing something to the car.

(5 Jan 07)
Its been really hectic over the holidays so i haven't really gotten a whole lot done to the car. I got the interior stripped out and pulled apart getting ready for the back-half and cage to go in. Should be pretty busy over the next few months getting all that together and in the car. Will have pics up in a few days.

(15 Dec 06)
Well its been kinda slow around here lately so i decided to go ahead and pin up some of my posters and banners and the clock my step-son got me for my birthday. I'll put some pics of my garage and all my car junk  on page 4.

(8 Dec 06)
All the engine and transmission stuff is out. I got the engine apart and all i can say is WOW. The cylinders look great, all the crosshatches are still there from the machine work last year. The pistons look fantastic with hardly no scaring on the skirts. Next i'll be tearing down the C4 to see what all is going on in there. I think i lost the 2-3 servo last time out on the track so we'll what actually happened. Pics on page 5.

(18 Nov 06)
The racing season is over now and its back to the garage for future planning of the car for the next go around. I'm going to be pulling the 306/C4 out and going back in with a KILLER  carb'd 306/C4 now. Just started the process of getting the wiring out and all the good stuff in order to the engine out.

Went and picked up the Rodlights and got my slicks and skinnies mounted up. Car looks killer i think. The rear rodlights have a 4.5" bs so i had to roll the outer fender lip a little in order for the 28-10.5 MT slicks to tuck. Pics on page 4.

Well this weekend was an eventfull one. Got the new springs in for the front and went ahead and got the springs installed all the way around. While we had the tools out we decided the go and get that pesty A/C, P/S stuff out of the way and run the short belt. Then into the inside we dove and got those nice new GT seats installed. Man are they comfortable. After that we got the cover plate that we made installed over the old shifter hole where the T-5 shifter came through. Pics on pages 3,4,7.

Last night went well with the C4 swap. Everything went in geat and works just like it should. It feels alot more like the race car it is now. With the 3.73 gears i'm running about 2700rpms @ 55mph. So no more highway trips for it but around town and to work and back its no problem and it should do so much better at the track now. Pics on pages 3,7.

Well this past weekend i have been working on getting the stock T-5 and stock shifter pulled from the notch. Currently going back in with a built C4, nice pro stick shifter, and a nice size stall converter. Pics on pages 3,7.

Well i run another best for me out at the 1/8th mile track. We installed the holley systemax II intake and man it sured to pick up quite a bit of take off. Run a 8.8 @ 78 with a 1.96 60' pulling the tires off the ground launching @ 3500RPM's.

Here is what the notch looked like when i got it. Got a few things going on with it right now that will be sure and turn a few heads. Got a whole other exhaust system going on along with the addition of a 2.5" cowl hood. Pics on page 4.
