Hay Boss dude. Did you actually paint your engine pieces or have them powder coated? They look great is why I ask. Is it an enamel with some type of coating?

I have been using the black high heat paint on my parts. Which works out great since the cars theme is black and white. But I might like to do some painting of white under the hood. Any help would be appreciated.

I painted and then clearcoated, regular old metallic blue. I use an automotive clearcoat out of a spray can. I have not had any problems and it all seems to be holding up well. I have not had any heat issues with anything I have done either.
