Her Story

updated: Dec 10th 2008 @ 01:16 PM

I am the 3rd owner of #33 of 100.

The first owner bought it, but traded it back in for a manual shift. Then it was sold to Tennessee Titans football player #72 Brad Hopkins (retired). He traded it in Nashville. I then found it on e-bay. They had JUST listed it.

It was a total God thing!

The salesman is a Christian and is going to work with my husband on MustangMinistries.net doing a car show with him to help raise money for cancer. The show will feature Alan Jackson's cars, because he is a good customer of our salesman. Speaking of, when we went to pick the car up in Cookeville (they met us halfway too!), he only had one set of keys. He said that Brad had left the other set over at Alan's house (ALAN JACKSON!!!!) My car keys are at Alan Jackson's house!!! How cool is that!

Anyway, we just got an incredible deal. Too good to be true if you ask me (less than a regular GT convertible)! Plus we got what we needed out of our trade. That is why it is a total God thing!!!

My husband and I joked on the way home. There is a small scratch on the glove box, and I told him “It’s from Brad's Super Bowl ring”, but he said "No, it's from Alan's boot!"

We had the salesman get Brad’s autograph on the window sticker for us. We are also going to find out if Alan ever drove the car, since the keys are at his house! Then when we do the show for cancer, maybe Alan will be there and I can get his autograph too!

It was just an amazing experience! It took a while to sink in, but I have been blessed with 2 limited edition cars! Only 100 in the world, and I have 2! I still can't even believe it! I don't deserve these blessings!!!! But I am VERY VERY THANKFUL for them!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!

We certainly now know that it was a gift from God. My husband talked to the salesman and he said that when he got our trade (Nissan Titan Truck) back to the dealership he talked to his father-in-law. His father-in-law had just sold his car the night before and was looking for a truck. The salesman asked what kind of truck he wanted and his father-in-law described our truck to the tee. He now owns our truck. We tried to sell it for months with no luck. God gifts us a great car and gets our truck to someone who needs it.

We traded in a TITAN and got a car from a former TITAN!

Love your car! Loved reading the story of jack driving your car.

I am going to have my car painted this summer. Seeing your car made me want it even more. My high school colors were/are "orange and black." My mustang is red. Now, I love my car and I love the red, but I am going to make a major change in color. I am going to do the top area, kinda like yours in "a pearlized orange." I am going to do from there down "silver." Then, I am going to break the two with a "thin black line."

I think that it will be "HOT!" There are other red mustangs around here, but there is nothing like what I want to do.

Thnx for having your car on here. It helped me think clearer about the look that I am going for. My car turns heads now, but I really think that the new paint job will ROCK!

Again, love your car.
