Wiring done

blogThursday, April 09, 2009 @ 9:01 PM

Well I got all the damage wires repaired and and new wire where I want it. All I really need to do now is Put the engine and trans back in, but because engines are so much easier to work on when there out of the car and I am still waiting on a few more upgrades, that wont be for a while.

Here is what the interior looks like right now

All that's left for me to do here is put the center console back in a hide my wide band wire, but that wont happen until the trans is back in. I did not take any pics of the engine bay today but it doesn't look that much different from the one I recently posted on my issues page if anyone want to look. Now I am just waiting on money and parts, so from what iv figured I should be on the road in June if all goes well.

Stay tuned.

Resolving issues with the Stang, progress.

blogThursday, March 26, 2009 @ 7:11 PM

Well, someone gave me a pretty neat idea, start a blog. I figure why not sounds like it might be neat!
My stang caught on fire late last year, not a really big fire but it made a big mess and Iv been repairing/cleaning it up. Its been a slow process due to lack of money and time but progress is progress. You can see what Iv done up until now by checking out my "Issues" page on my site for my 84 mustang.

Currently I am focusing on wiring, i just need to rewire a few wires that where damaged and i am going to rearrange a few things.

As you can see(above), I have some wiring to do indeed, is not as bad as it looks though its jut going to be very tedious. The good news here is the interior is coming together, after I finish every thing here Ill focus under the hood. The goal is to have everything ready to just drop in the engine and simply connect the needed connections and get this sucker started again, still have a bit to go though.

You can see here i have my "new to me" ECU harness installed, notice anything missing? I am not talking about the engine ether! Ill inform you guys about what i mean later
. That hood still stinks, its ok though the replacement hood will be on when i drop the engine back in.

Here you can see most of the fresh wire I have set up for the rewiring, before it was in the big hole to the right and the gromet I used wasnt worth a penny and I didnt loom it, that loom goes all the way back to the gauges. History wont be repeating it self on my watch! Thats pretty much all I have for now but Ill keep the updates coming :)
