A BRIEF RUN DOWN ON MY CARS HISTORY

"My 1988 Saleen" reproduction started life as a 2.3 4 cyl. w/ an automatic & red interior.  Unfortunately, it was a recovered theft from Staten Island N.Y. & i bought the rolling chasis from a mustang salvage yard in NH. Missing its original 4 cyl & auto tranny made the job a little easier for starters LOL! The original red interior was trashed as a result of the theft & needed alot of attention. I first started w/ a 5.0 conversion w/ the 5 speed conversion & an 8.8 rear w/ 3.55s & disc brakes from a thunderbird turbo coupe. Along the way i also swapped out the red interior for authentic gray Saleen FloFit interior which is near impossible to get period! Let alone get every correct peice for that particular year Saleen mustang like i have. as of this writing, MY 88 has seen 3 engines, 2 trannys, 3 rear ends, 4 complete & different brake packages, 2 interiors, 2 hatches, 4 wings, 5 sets of wheels & i am sure i am forgetting a few others LOL.

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,
