I seen your blog about the cold air intake having a hole rubbed into the intake pipe itself. I've never heard of something like that. I looked at the JLT Cold Air Intakes and you should not have a bit of problem with holes being rubbed into the pipe. Reason being is that when the the pipe actually enters the engine compartment from the fenderwell there is a rubber O ring that goes between the pipe and the fenderwell so something like that does not happen. I have a BBK Cold Air Intake for my 2002 v-6 and knock on wood, I haven't had a bit of problems with it. Good luck and let me know how it goes with the new intake.
