Interior/Engine

updated: Nov 14th 2005 @ 01:57 PM

Okay, the interior is probably the most controversial part of my car. It gets talked down about the most. So, let me set some things straight right off the bat. When I bought the car it had the interior painted with the blue floormats. I added the seat covers to go along with the rest of the colored look inside. The steering wheel cover I need because the wheel itself is peeling and feels like its disintegrating. The switchpanel in the dash I did as a fun little project. Here's some pics:

This is an older picture of the panel. It holds 3 switches now, and the switches do look smaller in person

This is the engine pre-suspension. So it has been cleaned a little since then, and the caster camber plates replace the ugly strut tower mounts.

Thanks to all who gave me advise on what to do with the sensor. Apparently it worked. The check engine light has not come on at all. I even bought the Chilton Manual to make sure I did everything right. Thanks everyone.

Hey Fro,

I need some help with a little problem I have. My check engine light came on, and I ran diagnostics on it and it came back with P0401. So I replaced the EGR Valve and found out that wasn't the problem. Now I get a P0402 and I think I have it narrowed down to the pressure sensor but I need some one to confirm that for me. What do you think?

Dennis

If you've already done the EGR valve, the DPFE pressure sensor is the next likely culprit
