This car is modified to run with the five liters.
Engine is 0.030 over 289. Com Cams roller conversion, Crane Cams full roller 1.72 rockers, Pete Jackson quiet gear drive, MSD Pro Billet distributor, self ported GT-40 Y302 heads, Weiend Xcelerator, Edlebrock 750 CFM (don't worry cam is big enougg to make up for the big carb), CSR water pump and much more.
Brakes are 4 wheel disc that stop much quicker than my P71 Crown Vic.
Factory GT convertible coil springs in front, 5 leaf heavy duty leaf in the rear, KYB shocks, Shelby underrider traction bars, subframe connectors, Monte Carlo bar, and export brace keep the car ready to carve corners.
Currently the transmition is a world class T5, all though I will probaly revert to the good old top loader for a couple of seasons. A Currie TSD 3.80 insures that the power reaches the ground.
