This page is about the long and winding road towards a V2-S trim aftercooled setup on my GT

I bought a used kit from a fellow from a classified ad on www.modulardepot.com and he ended up leaving a bunch of parts out. After going though the chargeback process with my credit card company and some confusion with that involving an extra money order he now owes me $1600 plus the rest of the parts he has but will not send the rest of the parts until he can access his paypal account. So now I'm putting together the rest of the kit myself and will sell the parts from him if I ever receive them.

Hopefully I can get my money back. If that ever happens then I will have gotten a very good deal on this kit. It is kinda fun for a crafty fella like myself to figure out how to make this kit work by fabricating and substituting other parts for those from vortech.

Anyway, here are a couple of pictures

I spent today putting the 03 cobra heat exchanger in there, mounting the water pump, tank and all the hoses. Turned out pretty nice and ya don't really notice the intercooler unless you look pretty close.

Here is the inlet elbow between the aftercooler and throttle body, I'll have it powdercoated soon

I ordered several fittings from www.mcmaster.com to complete the oil feed and return lines. I'm using some fuel and air hose to substitute for the vortech parts. I have already tapped the oil pan and installed the oil feed fitting in the oil pressure sending unit and have plugged these so that I won't have too terrible much to do with them when I install the blower

This is the air/oil seperator that filters out the oil in the pcv line. This helps to minimize detonation due to oil mixed in with the air.

Here's a bracket that I made for the aftercooler water pump. the ford part runs about $60 and this cost me under a buck for the hose clamps. I got the aluminum from a scrap pile at work and will be getting it powdercoated for free

GOT RANKED. GREAT CAR.

QUESTION: HOW DID YOU YOU DEACTIVATE YOUR TRACTION CONTROL WITH YOUR XCALIBRATOR? I HAVE ONE AND I WOULD LIKE TO INSTEAD OF USING THE BUTTON ALL THE TIME.
