10/21/06 - The night started off with a little vandalism in the parking lot of Outback Steakhouse while we were having dinner...
Some asshole punk decorated my snake with an ice cream cone...Of course Outback doesn't videotape their parking lots despite there being a camera on the pole nearby where my car was parked.
Once the ice cream was cleaned up, we headed home. Just after we got onto the highway, we came upon a large red smear on the road. I thought to myself....ewww grosss....Not 15 minutes down the road, I came upon another larger red smear accompanied by a large red blob in my lane. It was the carcarss of a deer. I had no where to go, I was surrounded on all sides by cars and there was a pack of them behind me too. I had no choice but to run over the deer carcass at 70 mph.

There was enough venison stuck under my car to feed a 3rd world country. Bambi ended up costing $5700.00 to repair all the damage. The impact took out my heat exchanger, power steering cooler, k-member, bumper cover and left fog lamp. Thanks to having Sonic Blue for a color it required several days to match and blend the paint perfectly to factory spec...I now have a vibration at highway speed which tells me that the pinion angle is off now since the k-member was replaced. I have to take it back for this work to be done when the weather improves...
