How I got my good looks...

updated: Aug 25th 2008 @ 04:03 PM

I added a new hood and changed the striping on the hood. It was an experiment that went wrong. They were quickly changed back to running straight up the middle. The Cobra R hood with the SVO scoop was too much over kill for what my car could do performance wise. That was something I wanted to change. I also added a set of 1995 Cobra R rims. The Stang started to look a little more aggressive.

This is what stripes gone wrong looks like

The Stang still sat up in the air like a 4x4 and needed lowered in the worste way.

Looks:

 95 Cobra R hood W/ SVO scoop

10" Racing stripes
 Leather shift boot and knob
 Silver face guages
 A pillar guages
 Rear bumper letter inserts
 Painted brake calipers
 Painted intake manifold
 Painted valve covers
 "3.8" rear deck lid badge
 Clear turn signal corners
 Chrome front liscense plate frame

I really like this picture. It was taken a Firebird raceway in Phoenix waiting in line to run.

The more I ran at the track the more I wanted to go faster. I faired pretty well in bracket classes but just wanted a faster running car.

Here I am running at the Norther Arizona Shootout event. I won my class, I thought it was pretty cool, being that I was the only V6 car in my class

Event winning trophis and stickers are always fun to get

Thanks to all who gave me advise on what to do with the sensor. Apparently it worked. The check engine light has not come on at all. I even bought the Chilton Manual to make sure I did everything right. Thanks everyone.

Hey Fro,

I need some help with a little problem I have. My check engine light came on, and I ran diagnostics on it and it came back with P0401. So I replaced the EGR Valve and found out that wasn't the problem. Now I get a P0402 and I think I have it narrowed down to the pressure sensor but I need some one to confirm that for me. What do you think?

Dennis

If you've already done the EGR valve, the DPFE pressure sensor is the next likely culprit
