I've had my GT since it was new. It was obvioulsy stock but didn't stay that way for long .
It started small, just some minor mods here and there which got me 13.70's. Well obviously that was not enough. I went with a 125 HP wet kit at first and that was good for 12.60's. Keep in mind this car has never had a set of slicks on it and only got D/R's this last winter. After I got tired of filling bottles every week, I decided on a Pro Charger P1SC. I never got a chance to run it that way since the Pro Charger was nothing but an oil leaking POS. So that led to the Vortech. She ran good for a long time but of course the stock boost wasn't enough. I got it to go 12.4's on street tires but the motor didn't like it much. The pistons grenaded and that brought me to today. The car still has working A/C, power steering, full leather interior, power locks and windows, stock PI heads and intake and I'm sure some other things I'm leaving out. By the way, I do ALL my own work. I built the engine, the rear, the suspension....all in the confort of my 2 car garage.
As stated on the 1st page, I did get it dyno tuned by Matt Hill of Matt Hill Motorsports and he did an outstanding job. Cured all drivability issues and the car never fealt stronger. I still haven't had a full run yet but the best so far has been 11.7 @ 123 which was only about 3/4 of a pass. The best 60' time was a 1.6 but I blew a freeze plug out on that run and soaked the tires down. I have faith that the car will go high 10's if I get it make a full pass
