We are from Michigan so I go back and visit. This was my first game
in the Detroit Tiger's new ball park "Comerica Park". It was a beautiful
fall day and while it breaks my heart to know the real Tiger Stadium
sits empty, Comerica is a very nice ballpark.
This is a funny picture. We had a huge Burr Oak in our back yard.
It kept leaning a little more all the time til one nice we heard
a big "crack", sounded like lightening hit in our back yard.
It was the tree breaking. Luckily it went up to, but didn't hit the
house. We had a backyard full of tree. I counted the rings and it
was about 104 years old. I hated that it fell, sure left a big hole
in the back yard. That is me on the left and my oldest son Ricky
on the right as we were clearing some branches.
This is our little Sheltie Lillian. She was born deaf,
but I don't think she feels like she is missing out.
She is the funniest dog. Here she is watching birds that land
in the arbor all day. She will watch them and bark. She will be 3 in May.
This is our first Sheltie "Sweet Mousey Ice". She was also born deaf. This sweet girl was our baby til she died 3 years ago. Mousey ended up having cancer, we found out after she died. She was 13 years old.
This big boy is Toledo. We got him at the Animal Shelter about 11 or 12 years ago. He is big. The dogs love him. Lillian cleans his face and ears and Ginny plays with him. Toledo will get sick of Ginny picking at him and tackle her to the ground.
Our outside dogs Sarah and Squirrel. Both were strays. Don't know how old they are, Sarah is at least 11, Squirrel probably 9 or so. Sarah ia a Border Collie. Squirrel is a sheltie but he won't let us brush him so we get him a burr cut every spring to get the matted hair off.
This 1991 5.0 was my youngest son's first Mustang. He had to replace the hood when a church bus backed into him at a fast food drive-through. He traded that for the Honda Prelude my oldest son has today. He came back to his senses and bought the 1993 Mustang he still has.
This is Ryan about the same time, probably spring 1986, we were still in Sonora,TX and he is holding a real 'Horned Toad". We left Sonora for north Texas in July of 1986 and I haven't seen a live horned toad since.
For Christmas 12-1-2005I took Jennifer to see Dolly Parten. She thought that was funny since the last show I went to was Nine Inch Nails. But I've always loved Dolly and it was a great show.
Dolly at Nokia Theater, Grand Prairie, TX.
I absolutely love the Mystic Cobra and the Mystic Chrome Cobra's! Gave you a 10 as there is nothing else needed. I hope to have one someday, but right now I have two fox bodies, an 87 and 89. Take care of the snakes!
