I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I graduated in 1993 from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Mechanical Engineering degree. I was hired by Ford Motor Company as a co-op student in 1989 and full time in 1993.
My life has been a whirlwind since then:
Sep 1995 - purchased my Mustang
Mar 1996 - met my wife to be (Jeannette)
Oct 1996 - wife-to-be moved in
Nov 1996 - wife-to-be re-decorated my apartment
May 1997 - got engaged and moved to Michigan, bought first home
Oct 1998 - got married
Dec 1999 - started on Team Mustang as a Powertrain NVH engineer
Jan 2000 - my son Kyle was born, started my Masters degree, sold 1st home, bought 2nd home
Feb 2000 - diagnosed with chronic sleep deprivation
Dec 2002 - finished my Masters degree, resumed normal sleeping pattern
Jul 2002 - started Mustang Powertrain Program Management position
Aug 2002 - my daughter Kaitlyn was born, wife insisted I get a vasectomy
Sep 2002 - leased the anti-Mustang, a Ford Windstar ...
Jul 2004 - sold 2nd home, bought 3rd and current home (told wife no more homes), helped launch the 2005 Mustang!
Mar 2009 - named longest standing Team Mustang member
