BABES LX GOT A FACELIFT
NOW TIME FOR A "HEART TRANSPLANT"!
The old Babe was looking good but feeling a little down. I took her in for a Dyno-tune, new plugs and wires and had the ole double pumper rejetted. Squeezed a few more ponies out of her but still not killer.
Bottom line - for now, some new MSD goodies of the old mill.

UPDATE - NOVERMBER 2009
I know it looks like the same basic car in the pics, but it looks really super in the flesh!
Here's what she had done:
- Replaced door skins;
- Replaced old, rusty hatch;
- Swapped LX spoiler for GT spoiler;
- added new weatherstripping all around;
- Dings and dents out.
I've turned on the "Accept Judged Face-offs" in my Profile.
I don't really give a rat's ass if someone thinks my "engine bay is dirty" (you should see it after my serpentine belt disintegrated), or that I "don't have enough pictures of the underside or the interior". My fox is just a shiny (sometimes clean) little, red '87 Stang than makes a lot of noise once I get it started. I don't garage it, and I drive it in the winter. But it's not my daily driver - at $1.47 per litre (about $5 US/gal), that's out of the question!
Do check out the mods/347 build. The motor is now cherry, ground-up build, new cooling, exhaust, rear end, front end, etc. etc. The engine bay still has more holes than a goverment offices, but it's okay.
There are still lots of fox-bodies, in my home town, that are nicer and cleaner - good for them. Not too many are quicker now, though. I'm not here to brag, just to share some info about Babes LX. Thanks, for checking out my site.
