My 88 GT
Here is a representative picture of what she looked like when my dad took delivery of her way back in 1987.
Sorry, I couldn't find any of my own pics of when she came home.
For the rest of high school, my mission was to borrow it, which never happend.
Fast forward 17 years, and Dad is finally ready to sell her off. The first thing I did was to get rid of the turbines and swap over to five lugs .I decided to run a set of 95 Ponies, as that is a combo that I don't see alot of.
A few weeks later, I figured that I should do something about the ride hieght, and proceeded to tear apart a pristine, 75,000 mile Fox body. No, I still haven't shown these to my father!
This is how she looked a couple weeks after the spring install.
Next up is to get the hood and wing out of primer and get some paint shot on her.
Later on this year, the good old 302 is going to get retired in favor of a D.S.S. short block of undisclosed cubic inches.
It's been a long time coming, but I am glad that I can finally make this one into my own.
More pics will be put up as the progress continues.
