Engine Compartment

updated: Feb 2nd 2012 @ 09:16 PM

Installed dual feed fuel line for new carb and painted block.

Installed polished RPM intake, Avenger carb, fuel pressure gauge, and, fuel lines 04-02-11.

Installed headlight relays. Fuselink from alternator to voltage regulator burned out. Halogen headlamps draw too much power causing alternator to run at a higher amp output. This solved the problem. Thanks to Craig and Lance Morgan, Ford electrical engineer for the help.

After eight months on backorder my chrome master cylinder finally arrived.(6/8/09) Changed plugs and wires. Went with Mallory 8mm stainless steel spiral core wires. Eagle distributor cap and rotor came today 6/13/09.

All my pictures of the engine when I got the car mysteriously disappeared when my ex-wife and I split up. It had a rust covered set of Edelbrock valve covers and fourteen inch air cleaner on it. Wished I would have bought the chrome monte carlo brace with the bend in it. Distributor is fun to remove with this one.
