After driving the car for a few months, I began to wish i had more power and became envious of the cobra owners. Long story short I found a 96 Cobra from a insurance co. that was a total loss and for parts only. I ended up paying $2050 for the car and for transportation of the car. And work began shortly. The car was hit hard on the front pass. side. The accident pushed the frame rails 6" over. There was considerable damage to the engine also. The ABS module was broken, the air pump destroyed, a/c condenser cracked, coil pack broken, a/c lines bent, and wires cut. These parts were easy to fix compared to the electrical since the Cobra was a conv. and the Mustang a coupe. Luckily my dad is a genius when it comes to electrical. We also changed it from an automatic to a manual from the Cobra, this required removing the transmission tunnel from the Cobra and welding it into the Mustang. After swapping everything and working out some bugs the car was amazing and so much more fun.
