How i got my ride

updated: Jun 24th 2007 @ 09:12 PM
I had seen a few Roush's at Daytona while the Pepsi 400 was going on for the weekend, and just fell in love with the car.I started a wide search to see how to get one. Then I found Brandon Ford,I could not choose what color I liked, and had to play the buying game with the salesman anyways.
I then put 10k down on what was supposed to be the first Stage 3 for 2004 in mineral grey. After waiting way too long and the car was still not done,I got my deposit back and found my Silver Stage 3 Vert, again at Brandon Ford.Went round and round with sales, and saved actually (no lie)
20k and then traded in a 2000 Dodge Durango (wifes car). When i took the keys to my new ride I had a long ride home, about 60 miles.Loved it even more than the test drive, and my wife could not wait to drive it.Unfotunatelyshe could not reach the pedals,so she has not driven the car.
It is all mine.I drive the car to work every day,and love every minute of it.After almost  2 1/2 years I have about 12k on it.

I put my car in a car show for the first time and won best muscle car,That was awesome!!!!!!!!!

I go to Bradenton  Motorsports and run the car once in a while, what a blast. Can't wait to get it on a road track..

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,

Tim

what is your location I will let you look over my car and take the pix you need

I appreciate the offer but I am trying to get this wrapped up for a show this weekend so not time for a visit.  I think I have my anser though.  Found out the re-man parts are different than stock.  Not the best answer for originality but it will work.  Thanks for the offer.
