NEW AQUISITION: A 2nd 1987 SALEEN

updated: Nov 8th 2007 @ 06:53 PM
My latest aquisition:
another SALEEN!!!

1987 Saleen #065  Dark Metalic Gray with gray interior and gray stripes.  This is an all original Saleen I bought from a good friend. She is 1 of 280 Saleens built in 1987 and 1 of only 24 total Dark Metalic Grays Saleens and 1 of 14 with her options list. She came with a Kenwood stereo and 3:55 gears from Saleen.  She is originally from Costa Mesa California and then was sold to a car collector in North Carolina where my close friend Tim bought her and moved her to South Carolina. I am now the 4th owner and I plan to keep her indefinitely.  She is a true rare jem.

Future upgrades will be a Vortech Supercharger and Nitrous and larger Brakes just like my red Saleen. I can never leave well enough alone I guess.  I plan to take the red Saleen and turn it into a full on road race car.
I hope you like the pictures of my latest baby......

Hey folks, I was wondering if someone out there with an 88-93 Fox convertible could do me a favor.  I am looking for a picture of the of the ‘A’ pillar post window weather strip showing the weather strip and inside trim molding (the molding on the inside of the pillar post) and another detail picture of where the pillar post molding meets the door seal molding.  I am redoing this and need an example – my car was repaired long before I purchased it and they kind of did a ‘custom’ job on this area.  I want it to be right this time.

Thanks,
