I PUT MY PULLIES IN!!! ok that was the biggest pain in the @$$ I have ever tried to do. WOW if you ever do it from above make sure you have it in 5th or your highest gear and use a 3-5 foot long steel pipe ontop of a wrench handle to give you the torque after that its about a 30 min install... OK well they work. A little faster accel and its just smoother feeling. Nothing like supercharging but hey. Every little bit adds up. oh yeah, I installed them myself :-D
OK I bought pullies.... now i need a pulley puller and i'll be set. luckily I know someone who'll lend me one. YAY oh and my new quartermile time and speed is 14.19 @98.8mph :-D
This is my 2004 Mustang GT. so far it just has a Trickflow Air plenium, and a cold air intake. I have a steeda tri-ax short throw shifter, but I am installing it tommorow (6/6/05). Hopefully it'll help shift quicker and better without the grinding. OK its installed and its awesome. so easy from second to third.
FLOWMASTER 40 SERIES SOUND GREAT!!!
Well i want to lower it but I also want to do some more engine mods, i'm not sure what I should do next. I'd love to get a turbo or 2 haha and have fun with that i just don't know anyhting about them because they are rare. I don't want to blow up my engine either. I just want to get my power up to the 400-450 range and i'll be set. Does anyone know if that will blow my engine?
I'm thinking about getting the American Racing Torq Thrust 2's for my car I just don't know what width to get I'm thinking about 17x9 or 17x10 or maybe even 18x10's Any suggestions?
Mods as of 9/6/05:
-Steeda Tri-Ax shifter
-Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers
-Trickflow Air Plenium
-Densecharger cold air
-Steeda Strut tower Brace
ok i went to the track tonight (8-13-05) oh yeah and I pulled off a 14.5 quartermile. yes it might not be that fast but its 2 tenths faster than my fastest was. I am also 100% sure that I can do better. As the night was over i was getting into the groove of things and getting better at launching. I kept dropping the clutch and i didn't slip it. so my engine bogged down every time. oh well hopefully i'll have time before the winter hits.
