My Budget Beater Project

updated: Feb 22nd 2010 @ 07:54 AM

I found this little jewel in my ol'country town of Brandenburg Ky!
I will prolly sell the ponies off of it. It is an original V-8 4-speed car.

the 4-speed & put in a racing C-4 Automatic!

My little budget beater project has slowed some. It will get some work this summer, but it will prolly be next spring before the major work is done.

The back yard looks a little like a barren wastland right now, but it greens up pretty good in the summer.

Most of the interior has been gutted for weight savings. This car will be completely dofferent from the Black '89 Notch.

The engine now has longtube headers with aluminum heads. The heads are brands new with 2.05 intake, and 1.60 exhaust valves. They only cost me 800 bucks! They came complete with valvasprings & studs. Shipping was free! The engine runs better with these heads, but the engine is kinda tired. There is a 351W block in the garage, waiting for a 408 or 427 stroker kit.

Here's the old Duraspark distributor!

Welcome to the site. There are quite a few things to do here. Let me know when you have some pics up & I'll be back to rank you.
Please stop by and rank my site. Check out all the pages. My wife's '66 Mustang has a page, and I have a page for my '64 Thunderbolt clone.

Thanks in advance!
