i have fought many tickets & never lost so i say just the opposite. fight it! but the key thing is to be honest & ask yourself over again if maybe you did break the law even a little bit. if there is doubt, then just pay up but if you believe you are absolutely correct in what you were doing then fight it. ever ticket i was ever issued was BS so i fought them & wont them all.

Well here in florida cops still need proof lol. Your best option is to wait until you get mass amounts of ticket clinic lawer info in the mail and pay one of them to handle your case. It is usually costs less than the ticket and you usually get the ticket thrown out with no points when you have a lawer handling it for you.

Depending on the radar that he was using, they have what is know as faster vehicle.  Stalker and  Kustoms radars have a feature that will register three speeds.  The speed of the patrol car, vehicles in mass and then the faster of the two vehicles.  Now what the radar does not tell you is which is the faster of the two vehicles.  That is where the officer would have to be able to prove that the following vehicle was overtaking or gaining on the lead vehicle or vice versa.  I could sit here all night and explain how doplar police radar works but, that in a nut shell is what you are looking at.  I would fight the ticket.  I am a  Certified  Instructor for Kustoms radar.  Most cops that have radars today in small communities are not even certified to run radar, nor are the radars properly calibrated.  There are lots of loop holes when dealing with city police, or county sherrifs.  State police you have no chance due to the fact that the training is uniform accross the board, as well as polices governing Radar, and Ldar(Laser Radar).  That is my 2 cents.

well for what i was really doing and the ticket he wrote me was the same. he claimed i was doing more thhen what i really was doing.

Interestingly I recruited in NY and was a Drill Sergeant in SC and in both places I met state troopers who wrote reckless driving tickets when you jump on the brakes to mess up the radar.  Here in NC one of our local officers wrote me for 76 in a 50 when the last I saw the speedo I was well north of 120.  Evil x got out of a ticket by paying a lawyer $300 ( 20 over in a school zone even).  Bet you can get out of this one.
