	591 Views In keeping with a resolution to pay off some bills, my hands are tied when it comes to cool new stuff this month. But seeing all the shiny parts here is making me antsy. So I'm on the hunt for ways to jazz up my engine and exterior that don't cost a fortune. So far I've splurged on a bottle of black caliper paint. And there's a polished radiator cap sittin' in my Summit Racing shopping cart. Some red metallic paint under the hood might be next, if I could just decide which parts to victimize. What do you think about a black Mach-style stripe down the hood, over the scoop and down the back? Smoked headlight film? Or black between the tail lights? I painted these on a pic of my car in Photoshop. They looked good to me but an outside observer who saw it laughed and said, "Oh please! Leave your car alone." Is he right?

“” ummmmm am i the only one who looked at her website???? there is rims on the car, chrome 03/04 cobra rims to be exact....i even think i remember a blog not too long ago talking about them when she got them! i say leave the "tacky" stuff out of it. like yellow said...you will only say "what was i thinking". no tints or films on anything but the windows. some colored accents under the hood are always nice, but dont doo too much. keep with the photoshop stuff and see what works...ultimately, its what YOU like.

“” Hmmmm.................the wheels look good. I agree with boss91gt, lower the car an inch or 2. You can get a nice set of springs for a couple of hundred bucks. It should prolly be one of the 1st things I do to the new driver.
