Mustang mods are like potato chips - you can't have just one. I've been working extra hours to pay some bills, don't even know what day it is right now, and what arrives at the front door but yet another car part.
I guess I can deal, since it's an Accufab 75 mm throttle body and plenum. So shiny and beautiful... it'll look great on the table until I get around to putting it in. Some people buy centerpieces or sculpture but I'm fine with an engine part sitting between the placemats.
There's no room in my trunk what with the ignition wires and spacers, throttle body spacer and an extra C&L plenum. What else? Heck, I don't even know. There are probably parts stuffed in behind those boxes too. I don't want to start installing now because it looks like rain. Plus knowing my luck, I'll get it apart, find out something's missing and be unable to drive in to do more OT tomorrow.
Adding to the temptation on the table are two performance books with dyno charts and great pix, and a $20 certificate from Summit that must be spent somehow... but you know life has priorities... like fixing the rattle on my Magnaflow pipe and replacing a billet piece that I accidentally pulled off last night.
Just now I could've sworn I heard the doorbell ring again. Found the kitten standing in a stiff Halloween arch, his tail fluffed out and staring at the front door. I looked outside and there was NOBODY THERE.... nobody running down the street, no car driving away... woooooooooo... scary! The kitten walked up to the open glass door and continued his puffy-tailed fury. Great. Ghost Delivery Service is bringing phantom boxes.
