A good friend is gone.  I can't work on much right now.  Hard to see clearly, you know?

Zymol and Eagle One can thank my cat for a few extra sales.  His pawprints adorned my hoods and roofs for the past 14 years.  He especially loved that black strip above the hood because it absorbed the heat.  There'd be fur floating up on the windshield when I took off, and bits of it under the wiper blades, but it didn't bother me.

He was my buddy, there through thick and thin.  What I wouldn't give right now to see him there, lounging comfortably in the sun.

He had access to a Mustang, but was still caught by Father Time.

Thank you all for your sympathy.  I really appreciate it.  He lived a long and happy life and I knew the day would come eventually... it was still really hard to face when it did happen.  After a horrible weekend of thinking about him nonstop, I was summoned to come for a ride "to get out and clear your mind..."  The car went down a back road and stopped at the animal shelter.  Now I knew what this mystery ride was about.  The shelter was closed so our next stop was a pet store.  They had mostly dogs, but in the last cubicle were kittens.  One was solid black.  You can guess what happened then.

I know exactly how you feel...in the past 6 months our family has lost 3 of our dogs....a lab who was 14 , a german shepard who was 11 and a little pug who was 6...its very hard everyday but you just have to concentrate on how good their life was and how much love you shared between you...sorry for your loss, I truly understand how you feel.
