I just went across the road and checked out my neighbors and it is counterclockwise

could your belt be run differently??? 

well since i dont have power steering, i guess we just configured it wrong..im not very educated on this subject lol but me and my girlfriends dad were lookin at it and he said to get a reverse flow water pump (he runs a garage) ive been doing some research on belt setups but no luck yet

Just a thought but if anyone on here has the same configuration without powersteering maybe they could draw up a diagram of their belt and email it to you .. anyone on here able to help out a brother Stanger

If you have the belt routed correctly and the water pump is for a clockwise rotation, it will pump water, but not as much as it should which in turn would cause an overheating problem.
