Well here is the story .. i back out of the garage this morning and go back in the house while the car is warming up .. after about 10 minutes I get in and put it in first and let the clutch out and I get this HUGE LOUD BANG .. the whole car dies .. and no i didn't dump the clutch .. just let it out easy because i was parked on snow .. i tried to start it and nothing .. i look under the hood and under the car but there was nothing wrong that i could see .. so I call the dealer and he sends over a tow truck and when the driver went to put it in neutral the shifter won't move .. he lifts the car a bit, crawls under and manages to get it neutral .. at the dealership they discover that the pressure plate selfdistructed .. all the springs came out of it, cracked the clutch plate and the bellhousing .. the mechanics are at a loss as to why this happened .. the good side is that my dealer put in an emergency order for the parts and they will be here tomorrow and i can have the car back Friday and he is going to put in a Ford Racing clutch, pressure plate and bellhousing for FREE .. he said he was not going to bother with another stock set up and that Ford will eat the extra cost .. all this happened at idle and the car only has 5600 miles on it
