Does anyone know where I can get some good springs that DO NOT lower the car. I have looked at a ton of sites but all seem to lower the car from an inch to two inches. I live on a dirt road and don't want to turn the front bumper into a shovel. I can live with the rear of the car down an inch, it's the front that concerns me.

Timmy, I just put the ford racing springs on my car and they lowered it about 1.5" but the car is more level now.  I have the chin spoiler and I seem to hit less now than before - believe it or not.  It's a quick change - if you put something on and they hit then then you can just replace them with OEM.  personally don't know that i would spend the money to get stiffer springs if i was not going to lower the car.  Lower CG is just as important as stiffer rate.  Not sure how much difference you would even notice.  Just my 2 cents.

i just put eibach sportlines on this saturday. dropped the car near 2". had to change the pinion angle cuz the driveshaft was hitting the floor pan during hard acceleration. i havent scraped anywhere yet. you should be fine going 1-1.5"

Thanks for the input guys. I don't know many that run Steeda springs but I'm sure there are a lot that do. I have been looking at Eibach and Ford Racing and I'm leaning toward the Ford springs. You brought up a good point Tim. I'm looking more at leveling the car out than lowering it but I guess I'm not going to ba able to do that without lowering it some what. I'll post some pics when I finally make up my mind.

FYI.  Lowering the car threw out the Camber pretty good. I ended up getting the J&M Mustang 4-Bolt Caster Camber Plates from www.AmercianMuscle.com.  So if you don't want to become an expert at doing strut replacement on S-197 mustangs you may want to pick them up in advance!  Good luck Tim.  I will be posting pictures soon too.  The ones I have up are two years much has changed since then!

Did you look at Roush? For my 01 it only dropped the rear by 3/4" and the front by 1/2". My side exhaust was bad about dragging to begin with but the Roush springs did not make it any worse.

Funny that you mention Roush Jeff as I just won some new springs on ebay for $150 (front and rear). This guy said he lost his car (no explanation as to why) and he had new springs, never installed. I bid at the last second and beat out the other bidder by $5.
